There is good news for dance professionals who use both LinkedIn and Twitter–you can now combine the two. LinkedIn is offering you the ability to add the “Tweets” app so that you can share what you post on Twitter with those on LinkedIn. You can also allow your Twitter account to be visible on your LinkedIn profile. It pays to utilize social media as much as possible, so try to set aside a few moments to take advantage of this new pairing if you can.
Your dance bio on Twitter is a make it or break it thing…people will decide to follow you or ignore you based on that alone. I found a good resource that will help you think through how to write one. Go to “applications” on the left hand side.
Click on WordPress.
Install the application.
Follow the directions for adding your blog.

Retweets are a way of passing on information that you have come across that you think others might enjoy reading. You can share something with your entire Twitter network by retweeting it–just copy, paste and put RT along with the person’s info before you post.
