Merce was at Columbia College a couple times prior to his death and one of his dancers is on faculty there now. I believe that students there got to perform in his work (it was past my time there). Might be worth a look!

I had the opportunity to sit in on Merce teaching company class once in college. It was so interesting to watch as, in his later years, he did not have a lot of mobility. He both sat and stood for the class but nearly everything was indicated with some very subtle hand movements. He had a very quiet manner and his dancers knew exactly what he wanted without his having to say much. Endlessly fascinating!!
